Jack's words

Jack has been yabbering away for a while and now he's coming out with a few words too! His first was Mum-my then when he learnt Dadadad he forgot my name altogether. Next was 'puh-puh' for puss puss and then 'Ta' which has been shortened to 'ah'. Then 'doh' fpr dog. This week he's saying Bay-ee constantly (Bailey's our cat) or Bay for short. He's also started saying uh-oh all the time or just 'uh uh' or 'oh oh' with an 'uh-oh!' expression on. Then today he was saying wo-ow!
The other day he copied when a visitor said bye-bye (ba-ba) and me when I said bye Daddy (ba-y Da). And he sometimes copies animal noises - mmmmmmmm or baa
It's so cool and he talks heaps in his own little language - "What you doing Jack?" "ba doo doo do yo yo yo yo"
Soon he'll be like "See ya, Mum I'm off out with me mates" (-:

Here's a cool pic (little poser!)

Long time, no post

Stuart's home from the UK after a whirlwind trip. Jack and I flew up to Auckland to meet him and stayed for the week while Daddy was at Uni (sitting an exam which he ACED (-:) Also, had to say goodbye to Mum/Nanna before she left for London )-:

A couple of weeks later it was off to Melbourne (YAY!!!) for a little holiday. Just four days, but we managed to pack quite a lot in. The flights weren't that much fun, especially the return as we got in at midnight and Jack would NOT sleep so he was a bunch of laughs by the end of it (not).
Anyway, while we were away we got to see the museum, the zoo, botanic gardens, Queen Victoria markets, the old gaol, the city centre, Yarra River, Federation Square, St Kilda's... I think that's all...
Public transport runs the place and we travelled on the trams and the train which was really cool. The train stations are all old fashioned and cleaner than Welly. In saying that, we did alot of walking too. The food was amazing, every second restaurant was Italian - the pizza was sooooo good! We stumbled onto the National Italian Festival ate had some more amazing pizza and delicious gnocci. The cafe culture is great too, had a hot chocolate on Chapel Street late Friday night - sat in the window and people watched. Chapel St is full of lovely (expensive) designer shops so it was window shopping for me. I did however, sniff out the suburb with all the outlet stores for those designers and other shops. Need I say more (-;

So, back to reality and we've been busy here (trying to keep warm mainly). Playcentre and swimming as usual. Stuart's on night shift at the moment and in fottball fan heaven as the World Cup has just begun.

....Isla turned two recently, Mum's in Spain with Haley, Mum & Dad W are coming out again in January.... Well I don't think there's any more news so here's some pics (-:
