Jack's funky 'do!

Auckland

Hi again,
we're back from another weekend away, this time it was Auckland for Stuart's cousin's 40th birthday. We left Welly in the wee hours of Saturday morning, and after a quick breather at Stuart's brother's we headed over to Waiheke Island for the do at Mudbrick Winery. It was such a beautiful place with awesome veiws from our setting up on the balcony. It was a really hot day and there were a few red shoulders at the end, we were all envious of Jack running around in just his nappy while we roasted in the sun. Great food, great wine and great company. It was a bit sad though, because Helen is now heading over to Sydney for a new job )-: so it was a farewell also. On the upside, Mum Whitaker has arrived from Scotland so we got to spend the weekend with her also. Jack, Stuart & I stayed at friends John & Leonie's. On Sunday we headed down to see Aunty Chrissy and family - it just happened to be Kyle's 6th birthday so we got to join in the party there. So come Monday, after a lovely long weekend we were off home again.
We're now planning Jack's first birthday (I know - I can't believe it either!), on February 12. Mum W will be down, too, as she is staying with us from 9-29th Feb. So... no rest for the wicked. It's busy as ever for us.
